Summer Camp is going awesome! It's been so good to get to know the younger girls, and there is a lot of talent and competitiveness coming up!
The older girls...in our opinion have really started in camp beyond where they left off at the end of season, and we couldn't ask for more! Honestly, we are so pumped. It has been a blast. As coaches we have enjoyed watching the older girls coach the younger girls, and get more comfortable in that roll. On the flip side everyone is being good at coaching each other and helping each other, which helps themselves learn and understand better.
Lifting wise, all the female athletes are lifting together, and week 1 started of well. I expect to see a big difference with their athletic. Everyone on the same page with the same goal of getting faster and stronger. How cool is this! DNH people you are cool.
Have a great start of JUNE! Don't forget Hoopalooza on the 13th in New Hartford.

We desire to create an environment that fosters teamwork, discipline, confidence, importance of taking care of each other and yourself, community service, fun and above all the best possible character which is a picture frame for all the other qualities. It's true that Basketball is just a game, but it is also a very powerful tool that we can use to create strong women, and we as coaches feel very blessed to have a chance to play any kind of hand in that.
