Day 1 of FULL Practice

19 girls in one gym, runnin' stations, callin' for the ball, getting red cheeked and sweaty from workin' hard! A good day! Let me tell you we have gotten descent at cramming as much as possible into a couple hours. Team meeting, lifting, and practice, and mini post practice meeting to get up to date on the future things. HOLY BUCKETS. . . the girls did well.

It is so fun to see them on year two, and me being such a big person for looking at mechanics and athletic ability, I love seeing where they've come in just a year! They are stronger, in more control, more confident in what their body can do. It carried over in the other sports, but in a short time I'm seeing a new confidence and strength that we wanted the girls to gain in basketball and of course as an overall athlete.

Wiggio is a think I am going to try to help get emails, and texts out easier and faster. Anyone affiliated with the bball program can sure sign into it. However, the basketball girls for sure need to. It asks for email and phone number for sure put your phone number in because I can send texts so much easier. THANK YOU. We will see how it goes.

Date Correction

Your calendars from school probably say that we play AP the mon. before Christmas it is actually the Tues. Conflicts of scheduling happened with Coach Thomas's death.

Purchased Clothing

For those of you who bought clothing, we have bundled it up and will be giving it to the junior high coaches to divvy out to their players. We will be placing another order for sweatshirts on Tues. so if you want on it is $25 and tell me your size, name, and number.

Season 09-10 Is Underway!

This 09-10 season has begun and with 3 practices under our belts they are doing great. They're working so hard, being so coachable, and starting to communicate with each other. We are excited for the Volleyball players and can't wait for them next week. However, it has been good being able to give this group a little more attention before the group doubles.

We play Vinton the 20th at Vinton, and turn around Tues. and play.
