Bball Dates

Chicago is July 15th but I do need to hear from parents about driving in order to know if we can bring 9th graders.

If you didn't get a copy of the bball dates etc. then email me amyv100@yahoo.com and I will email one to you. There is a lot of stuff on them so don't miss out.

Summer League is Tues and Thurs. Thursdays are meant for both groups, Tuesdays are just older girls. However, if younger girls want to come in and shoot around we would love it, it just won't necessarily be organized play.

Please return your entries for everything on time so we know numbers.

Lastly, we sent a message to the girls issuing a challenge or sorts. It was one for them to step up and take some initiative with their basketball program and show us and each other their commitment to building the program. We don't want all the driving force to come from the coaches. Right now, we have a VERY hard time getting any team time with the girls, and that usually means not a lot else happens. But that also means that girls need to start getting to a gym on their own and pulling a buddy with them. Just a couple do that now. Right now what I could muster up was time for Pack Camp and the Chicago trip, other than that we have about 9 hours of bball with the girls for their entire off season. Not comparable, and not enough.
